  1. Remove the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator and Outlet Duct ReplacementΒ .
  2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge pipe (1) from the throttle control module (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting ServiceΒ .

  4. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the throttle body control module.

  6. Remove the throttle control module bolts.
  7. Remove the throttle control module and the seal from the intake manifold.
  8. Clean the gasket surface.
