2009 GMC Canyon 4D Pickup, 2.9 9SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator and Outlet Duct ReplacementΒ .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the oil pressure sensor (2).
  3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors from the ignition coils.

  5. Remove the ignition coil bolts.
  6. Remove the ignition coils from the camshaft cover.
