  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the mass airflow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor (2).

  4. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump inlet hose (1) quick connect fitting from the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting ServiceΒ .

  6. Disengage the 2 air cleaner housing retainers (1).

  8. Open the air cleaner housing cover, and remove the air filter element (1).
