2009 GMC Canyon 4D Pickup, 2.9 9SECTION Circuit/System Verification

  1. If any other AIR DTCs are set, perform those diagnostics first.
  2. Inspect the AIR solenoid outlet pipe for leaks.
  3. Engine running, observe that the AIR Pressure Sensor parameter approximately equals BARO.
  4. Engine running, enable the AIR pump with a scan tool and observe that the AIR Pressure Sensor parameter equals approximately 20-25 kPa above barometric pressure (BARO).
  5. Engine running, enable the AIR system with a scan tool and observe that the AIR Pressure Sensor parameter equals approximately 8-10 kPa above BARO.
  6. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
