Programmable Remote Lock and Unlock Feedback

The following instructions detail how to enter the programming mode for the remote lock and unlock feedback feature:
- With the engine OFF, place the ignition in the LOCK position.
- Place the ignition key in the OFF position or the retained accessory power (RAP) position.
- Press the key fob LOCK and UNLOCK at the same time. The DIC will display RFA.
- Press the control stem for more than 2 seconds to view the modes and 1 second to select a mode.
The following is a list of available programming options:
- Mode 1-The park lamps flash when the vehicle is locked and unlocked.
- Mode 2-The park lamps flash and the horn chirps when the vehicle is locked. The park lamps flash when the vehicle is unlocked.
- Mode 3-The park lamps flash and the horn chirps when the vehicle is locked and unlocked.
- Mode 4-The RFA is inactive.
