Installation Procedure
2009 GMC Canyon 4D Pickup, 2.9 9SECTION Installation Procedure
- Install the ECM into the ECM mounting bracket, allowing the tabs to fully engage.
- Connect the ECM harness connectors (2) to the ECM body (3).
- If a new ECM is being installed, the ECM must be programmed. Refer to Control Module References .
- If equipped with a manual transmission, perform the clutch pedal position sensor learn procedure. Refer to Clutch Pedal Position Sensor Learn .
