Removal Procedure
2009 GMC Canyon 4D Pickup, 2.9 9SECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (LLV/LLR) or Generator Replacement (LH8) .
- Remove the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (LLV, LLR) or Power Steering Pump Replacement (LH8) .
- Remove the drive belt idler pulley. Refer to Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement .
- Remove the engine wiring harness bracket bolt (4).
- Reposition the engine wiring harness bracket out of the way.
- Remove the generator bracket bolts.
- Remove the generator bracket.
