Installation Procedure

  1. Install the generator bracket.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the generator bracket bolts and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Position the engine wiring harness bracket to the generator bracket.
  4. Install the engine wiring harness bracket bolt (4) and tighten to 40 N.m (29.5 lb ft).
  5. Install the drive belt idler pulley. Refer to Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement .
  6. Install the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (LLV, LLR) or Power Steering Pump Replacement (LH8) .
  7. Install the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (LLV/LLR)  or Generator Replacement (LH8) .
