Removal Procedure

2009 GMC Canyon 4D Pickup, 2.9 9SECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement .
  2. Fig 1: View Of Radio

  3. Remove the 3 screws that retain the radio to the instrument panel (I/P).
  4. Partially remove the radio disengaging the radio rear alignment locator to gain access to the electrical connectors.

  6. Disconnect the radio antenna cable.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors to the radio.
  8. Remove the radio from the vehicle.
