Removal Procedure
2009 GMC Canyon 4D Pickup, 2.9 9SECTION Removal Procedure
- Place the wiper arms in the 1/2 wipe position.
- Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
- Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm ReplacementΒ .
- Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel ReplacementΒ .
- Disconnect the electrical connector (3) for the wiper motor.
- Push the electrical harness grommet (1) through the plenum panel into the cowl.
- Remove the transmission fasteners (1, 4). Twist the transmission assembly in order to remove the transmission assembly from the cowl.
- Remove the transmission (3) from the vehicle through the access openings in the top of the cowl.
