2004 GMC Envoy XL 5.3 P, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable(s).
  2. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Fig 1: Knee Bolster & Bolts

  4. Disconnect the brown connector.
  5. Disconnect all other connectors (1).
  6. Fig 2: Harness Connectors

  7. Remove the BCM from the sliding bracket.
