2004 GMC Envoy XL 5.3 P, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Slide the BCM onto the bracket.
  2. Connect all the connectors (1) except the brown connector.

  4. Connect the brown connector.
  5. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

  7. Connect the negative battery cable(s).
  8. Reprogram the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO ConfigurationΒ .
  9. Perform the Passlock Learn Procedure. Refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System Components in Theft Deterrent
