Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Lower (GMC/Chevrolet)
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the floor console.
2. Remove the 4 screws that retain the closeout panel to the instrument panel (IP) substrate.
3. Remove the closeout panel from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the closeout panel to the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the 4 screws that retain the closeout panel to the IP.
Tighten the screws to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in).
3. Install the floor console.
