- Install the negative battery cable.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the negative battery cable bolt to the block.
Tighten
Tighten the negative battery cable bolt to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
- Install the negative battery cable bolt to the radiator support.
Tighten
Tighten the negative battery cable bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the negative battery cable bolt to the frame.
Tighten
Tighten the negative battery cable bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE .
