EVAP Canister: Removal

  1. The EVAP canister is located under the center of the vehicle. Raise and support vehicle. Note hose location and disconnect EVAP hoses from EVAP canister. See Figure . Remove 3 EVAP canister-to-underbody fasteners.
  2. Disconnect EVAP vent solenoid electrical connector. EVAP vent solenoid is mounted in top of EVAP canister. See Figure . Remove EVAP canister from vehicle. Remove EVAP vent solenoid from EVAP canister, if necessary. Remove EVAP canister from EVAP canister bracket.
