Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Tire Pressure Monitor Warning Indicators
The LOW TIRE PRESSURE warning light illuminates when air pressure of one or more tires is below specified pressure. This warning light will remain illuminated until ignition is turned off, even if tires are inflated while vehicle is running. Should system failure or low pressure exist while the vehicle is being driven, the system will notify the driver through two amber warning lights on the instrument panel (LOW TIRE PRESSURE or SERVICE LTPWS).
If SERVICE LTPWS warning light illuminates, there is a problem in the TPM system. See appropriate manufacturer service information.
