Removal Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
  2. Fig 1: Front Washer Nozzles

  3. Remove the right side air inlet grille push-in retainers.
  4. Remove the right side air inlet grille from the vehicle.
  5. Remove the left side air inlet grille push-in retainers.

  7. Lift up the left side air inlet grille and disconnect the front washer nozzle hose from the front nozzles.
  8. Depress the nozzle retaining tabs on the under side of the air inlet grille and pull front nozzles up.
  9. Remove the left side air inlet grille.
