Installation Procedure

- Align the steering wheel to the steering column and install the steering wheel.
- Install the steering wheel nut.
Tighten: Tighten the steering wheel nut to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).
- If equipped with cruise control, connect the cruise control switch connector.
- Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to STEERING WHEEL in Air Bag Restraint Systems.
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in SIR.
