  1. Align the steering wheel to the steering column and install the steering wheel.
  2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the steering wheel nut.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the steering wheel nut to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

  4. If equipped with cruise control, connect the cruise control switch connector.
  5. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to STEERING WHEEL in Air Bag Restraint Systems.
  6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in SIR.
