Installation Procedure

  1. Position the upper and lower shrouds.

  2. Apply light pressure until they snap in place.
    3. Fig 2: Ignition Switch Bezel

  3. Install the ignition switch bezel.
    4. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the shroud fasteners.

    Tighten:  Tighten the lower steering column cover screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in SIR.
