  1. Raise the head restraint (4) to the full-up position.
  2. Insert a small rounded tool (2) such as an Allen wrench into the hole in the guide (1) assembly in order to release the lock tabs.
  3. Remove the head restraint from the seat back (3).
  4. Use the following procedure to remove the two support rods from the head restraint:
    • Firmly grasp each rod and rotate it 90 degrees.
    • Pull the rods out of the head restraint.
