Removal Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT .
  2. Remove the wiper motor water deflector. Refer to Wiper Motor Water Deflector ReplacementΒ .
  3. Using the J 39232,Β  disconnect the wiper transmission from the wiper motor crank arm.

  4. Remove the wiper motor crank arm cover.
  5. Remove the wiper motor crank arm screw.
  6. Remove the wiper motor crank arm from the wiper motor.
