Installation Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the steering wheel theft deterrent lock (2) to the steering column (1).

  2. Install the screw (1) to the steering wheel theft deterrent lock (3).
  3. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the steering wheel theft deterrent lock (3).

  4. Install the trim covers to the steering column. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENTΒ  .
  5. Check the operation of the steering wheel theft deterrent lock (3).
