Antenna Mast Cleaning

  1. Turn the ignition to the ACC or ON position.
  2. Turn the radio ON to raise the power antenna to full extension.

  3. Dampen a clean cloth with mineral spirits.
  4. IMPORTANT: When wiping the antenna clean, pay particular attention to removing any dirt from the antenna section joints.
  5. Wipe the cloth up and down over the antenna sections, in order to remove any dirt.
  6. Using a clean, dry cloth, wipe off the antenna to remove any loosened dirt and or moisture.
  7. Turn the radio OFF to fully lower the power antenna.
  8. Repeat steps 2 through 6 until the antenna is clean.
  9. Turn the ignition OFF.
