Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove engine cover. See ENGINE COVER . Remove starter motor nut retaining starter to starter motor bracket. Remove starter motor bolts from engine. Refer to Figure . Disconnect electrical connectors from starter solenoid. Remove bolt retaining starter motor bracket to engine. Remove starter motor from engine.
