Camshaft Installation

- Coat the camshaft with prelube GM P/N United States 12345501, GM P/N Canada 992704 or the equivalent.
- Install the camshaft.
- Install the camshaft thrust plate.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Install the camshaft thrust plate bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 15 N.m (11 Ib. ft).
