Removal Procedure

Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY .
Remove the A/C compressor hose nut (1) from the condenser.
Remove the A/C compressor hose from the condenser.

Remove the A/C compressor hose nut (2) from the accumulator.
Remove the A/C compressor hose from the accumulator.

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING & JACKING THE VEHICLE .
Remove the lower air deflector. Refer to RADIATOR AIR BAFFLE AND DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - LOWER .
Remove the A/C compressor hose nut from the A/C compressor.
Important: Remove and discard all the used O-ring and the sealing washers.

Remove the A/C compressor hose from the A/C compressor.
