Removal Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING & JACKING THE VEHICLE .
  2. Support the exhaust system.
  3. Remove the exhaust pipe hanger insulator from the exhaust pipe hanger bracket and the exhaust pipe.

  4. Remove the exhaust pipe rear hanger insulators from the muffler rear and the hanger brackets.
