Installation Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air inlet grille.
  2. Install the push-in retainers to the air inlet grille.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the screw to the air inlet grille.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the air inlet grille screw to 2 N.m (18 Ib in).

  4. Install the windshield washer hose to the air inlet grille.
  5. Install the wiper arms. Refer to WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT in Wipers/Washer Systems.
  6. Close the hood.
