Removal Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the top center bolt (by the hood latch) on the front bumper fascia.
  2. Remove the push-in retainers on the top of the front bumper fascia.
  3. Remove the bolts from the front bumper fascia upper support.
  4. Remove the bolts from the front bumper fascia to headlamp mounting bracket.
  5. Remove the right and left air baffle push-in retainers and position the air baffles aside.
  6. Pull the upper edge of the front bumper fascia forward and remove the front bumper fascia upper support.
