DTC Will Set
When driver and passenger deployment loops are not open or shorted to voltage, driver deployment loop is not shorted to ground or resistance is less than 1.7 ohms. Driver deployment loop consists of following components: inflatable restraint steering wheel module and coil, harness wiring of CKT 347 and 348, and connector terminal contact. RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT test checks for this malfunction. This test occurs once each ignition cycle when IGNITION 1 is within normal operating voltage range.

When to See a Mechanic
