When driver and passenger deployment loops are not open, driver deployment is not shorted to voltage, voltage at DRIVER-SIDE LOW terminal No. 3 is more than 3.3 volts, and voltage at PASSENGER-SIDE LOW terminal No. 4 is less than 3.3 volts for 500 milliseconds. The following tests check for DTC and occur when IGNITION 1 is within normal operating voltage range: Power On test (if malfunction is detected in this test, RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT test will not be performed) and CONTINUOUS MONITORING.
