Removal Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) upper trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPERΒ 
  2. Remove the instrument panel cluster (IPC) head up display (HUD) bolts.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the HUD.
  4. Remove the HUD.
