Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM in Engine Cooling.
- Remove the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor. Refer to ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR in Engine Performance - Removal and Installation.
- Remove the left engine mount strut from the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT - LEFT .
- Remove the left engine mount strut bracket bolts.
- Remove the left engine mount strut bracket from the cylinder head.
