Removal Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front fender. Refer to FENDER REPLACEMENT - FRONTΒ Β .Β

  2. Remove the bolts attaching the hood stop bracket to the hood stop. On the passenger side one of the bolts also attaches to the plenum bracket.

  3. Remove the bolts attaching the hood stop bracket to the hinge pillar.

  4. Transfer the hood bumper if necessary.
