- Apply a bead of sealer (2) to the blow out clip.
- Peel the protective cover from the foam tape on the back of the retainer.
- Position the clip to the back of the retainer.
- Apply a bead of sealer (1) to the area where the clip will contact the reveal molding.
- Apply, outboard of the two screw holes where the retainer bends, a continuous bead of sealer (5) to the applique and the reveal molding.
- Replace any stripped, broken or improperly seated screws.
- Install the windshield weatherstrip side retainer.
