- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Loosen the two insulator nuts (1).
Important: Do not kink or bend the brake lines when moving the EBCM/BPMV assembly.
- Lift the EBCM/BPMV assembly out of the bracket and support.
- Remove the two BPMV bracket bolts.
- Remove the steering gear nut and bolt.
- Remove the BPMV bracket.
