Installation Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Align the marks on the brake drum and the hub made during the removal procedure.
  2. Fig 1: View Of Brake Drum

  3. Install the brake drum.
  4. Inspect the brake to shoe adjustment. Refer to Drum Brake AdjustmentΒ .
  5. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
