  1. Remove the power steering pressure pipe/hose nut from the power steering reservoir mounting stud.
  2. Remove the power steering pressure pipe/hose from the power steering reservoir mounting stud.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  4. Remove the front right tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  5. Remove the right side engine splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Engine in Body Front End.
  6. Place a drain pan under the power steering pump and the power steering gear.
  7. Disconnect the pressure hose from the steering gear.
  8. Disconnect the pressure hose from the hose retainer.
  9. Disconnect the pressure hose fitting from the power steering pump.
  10. Remove the pressure hose from the vehicle.
