Removal Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left IP Insulator Panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
  2. Remove the knee bolster panel. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
  3. Remove the bolts from the hood release handle base.

  4. Remove the hood release cable from the hood release handle.

  5. Remove the hood release handle from the instrument panel.
