1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Open the endgate.
  2. Remove the push-in retainers from each end of the endgate weatherstrip, using J 38778Β  .
  3. Remove the endgate weatherstrip from the endgate starting at the corner of the endgate and pull the weatherstrip from the endgate pinch-weld flange.
