Knee Bolster Trim Panel: Removal

- Remove the instrument panel cluster lower filler panel. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER LOWER FILLER PANELΒ . Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER BEZEL TRIM PLATEΒ .
- Remove the instrument panel lower extension trim plate. See INSTRUMENT PANEL EXTENSION TRIM PLATEΒ . Remove the bolts at the lower edge of the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel. Pull on the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel in order to disengage the retainers.
- Remove the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel from the vehicle. See Figure . Inspect the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel for broken or missing retainers. Replace the retainers as needed.
