Shift Lock Solenoid

NOTE: This following procedure is accomplished with steering column removed from vehicle. For adjustment in-vehicle adjustment, see SHIFT LOCK SOLENOIDΒ  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.

Shift lock solenoid is located on steering column. See Fig 1 . Pull locking tab outward from adjusting block. See Fig 2 . Press on adjusting block to disengage adjusting teeth. Slide adjuster block as far away from solenoid as possible. Lock adjuster block in place by pushing inward on tab. Ensure proper system operation.
