  1. Install the tilt lever.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the retaining bolt to the tilt lever.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the tilt lever spring.
  5. Install the lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers ReplacementΒ .
  6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
