Removal Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear roof garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear UpperΒ  .
  2. Remove the rear seat belt guide loop from the rear upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Rear in Seat Belts.

  4. Remove the screw from the rear upper quarter trim panel.

  6. Remove the push pins from the upper quarter trim.

  8. Remove the trim panel from the inner panel, by pulling the panel to release the push-in retainers.
  9. Remove the trim panel from the vehicle.
