- Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
- Mark the location of the liftgate latch in order to ensure proper alignment during installation.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors, as needed.
- Remove the nuts that retain the liftgate window latch to the latch support.
- Remove the liftgate window latch from the liftgate window latch support.
