- Open and support the hood.
- Install protective coverings over the fenders.
- Remove the right and the left air inlet grille panels. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT .
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the under hood lamp, if equipped.
- Remove the windshield washer nozzles, Refer to WASHER NOZZLE REPLACEMENT -- FRONT in Wiper/Washer Systems.
- Remove the hood hinge from the attaching bolts and the nuts.
- With an assistant, remove the hood from the vehicle.
