- Remove the instrument panel trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY .
- Remove ashtray housing retaining screws.
- Move the ashtray housing rearward in order to disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the clip that retains the electrical connectors to the instrument panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the ashtray housing from the instrument panel.
