- Install the pitman arm to the pitman arm shaft.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the pitman arm washer and nut to the pitman arm shaft.
Tighten
Tighten the pitman arm nut to 250 N.m (185 lb ft).
- Remove power steering gear from the vise.
- Install the power steering gear. Refer to POWER STEERING GEAR REPLACEMENT (RWD) or POWER STEERING GEAR REPLACEMENT (4WD) in Power Steering System.
