Installation Procedure

- Install the lower fan shroud in the vehicle.
- 1.1. Position the lower fan shroud against the radiator.
- 1.2. Engage the locating tabs by pushing down on the fan shroud.
- Install the upper fan shroud.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the upper fan shroud bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the coolant recovery reservoir hose to the lower fan shroud.
- If equipped with the 2.2L, install the air intake duct assembly:
Tighten
Tighten the intake air duct clamps 5 N.m (44 lb in)
- Install the push pins (2).
