Removal Procedure

- Remove the crankshaft pulley and hub. Refer to CRANKSHAFT BALANCER AND HUB REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the drive belt tensioner. Refer to DRIVE BELT TENSIONER REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the engine front cover bolts.
- Remove the engine front cover and gasket.
Important: Inspect the engine front cover for warping or damage. Replace if needed.
- Clean all sealing surfaces.
